Redundancy situations can be very difficult times for all involved. I’ve worked on a number of change management projects to provide an impartial and balanced view on selection processes.
I have experience of designing a number of Union friendly desktop selection criteria and have designed and conducted a large number of selection interviews.
I can help you create bespoke interview scripts for individual roles, new templates, assessment centre design with effective scoring matrices and even supply you with a library of behavioural based questions aligned to your company’s core values.
Many companies who unfortunately have to make employees redundant will offer an Outplacement support service via a 3rd party service provider.
Whilst a large number of individuals feel the service has been helpful to them; I know a lot of people (including myself) who have received Outplacement Support from some of these larger providers and felt that the service wasn’t as personal as it could have been but more importantly the advice given wasn’t necessarily that helpful in the real world.
I can provide your ‘at risk’ staff with Interview coaching (see Services for Individuals page for details), advice on how to approach the job market (agencies, job boards, direct approaches) as well as conduct a CV review service that is all personally tailored to them.
This will help build their confidence and reduce the level of issues for your HR department.
